Scientific experiments, technological innovations, art exhibitions, and dynamic medical demonstrations - all this and much more will be offered to visitors on Thursday, 18 June, during the Day with the University of West Bohemia at the Peace Square in Klatovy. UWB is thus continuing its long-standing tradition of organizing the event formerly known as the Day of Science and Technology. This year’s 20th anniversary edition not only has a new name but also offers an expanded program for all generations.

From 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., children and adults alike can look forward to attractions such as a robotic mission to Mars, a quantum world hidden inside Minecraft, generating electricity through their own physical effort, interactive gaming exhibitions, and live archaeology full of stories and discoveries. Visitors will be able to explore 30 exhibitions. They will have the chance to experience science firsthand, discover technological innovations, and see student projects currently being developed at the University of West Bohemia’s nine faculties and four research centers. Further details will gradually be published on the event website and social media channels.

Visitors will also be able to discover in Pilsen this autumn that a university is not only a place for higher education, but also a space for discovery, creativity, and meeting people. They will have the opportunity to spend a Day with the University of West Bohemia there on Thursday, 11 September.

O tom, že univerzita není jen místem vysokoškolského studia, ale také prostorem pro objevování, kreativitu a setkávání, se pak mohou návštěvníci na podzim přesvědčit i v Plzni. Strávit Den se ZČU tam budou moci ve čtvrtek 11. září.
