The University of West Bohemia in Pilsen invites you to another interdisciplinary seminar on Monday, October 5, starting at 5:00 PM. The lecture, titled Austria-Hungary as Europe in Miniature? The History of Federalism in the 19th-Century Habsburg Monarchy, will be given by Jana Osterkamp from the University of Augsburg. She will present 19th-century Habsburg federalism as a lived practice and an alternative to both the nation-state and a centralized empire. The seminar will take place on the ground floor of the UWB Faculty of Education building on Veleslavínova Street.
The lecture will be delivered in Czech; students, academics, and the general public are all welcome to attend.
