Explore drawing, painting, photography, graphic design, or material-based art in the inspiring environment of an art faculty. The Ladislav Sutnar Faculty of Design and Art at the University of West Bohemia is opening its autumn courses for the public, designed for both beginners and more experienced creatives. The courses are taught by practising artists, designers, and art theorists who also work as university lecturers.
The current programme includes figure drawing, painting, three-dimensional art, a lecture series on the principles of photography, graphic design and typography, digital painting, and lectures on art history.
The thirteen-week courses take place once a week in the early evening, directly in the studios of the Sutnar Faculty. Classes are taught in small groups of no more than ten participants.
Teaching begins in the week of September 21. Online applications may be submitted until September 13, but please note that some courses may reach capacity earlier.
