Faculty of Education Announces the Dean’s Awards for Educational and Creative Activities

Academics and students of the Faculty of Education at UWB can nominate outstanding achievements in educational and creative fields until the end of February. The Dean of the Faculty is announcing two awards, each accompanied by a CZK 10,000 financial reward.

The Dean of the Faculty of Education at the University of West Bohemia in Pilsen (FPE), Pavel Mentlík, has announced the Dean’s Awards for Educational Activity and for Creative Activity for 2025. The awards are intended to recognise specific exceptional achievements by faculty employees, whether in science, teaching, research, innovation, or creative artistic activity.

Nominations may be submitted by all members of the FPE academic community - academics and students - via an online form. The nomination deadline is 28 February 2026. The laureates will be selected by a five-member committee appointed by the Dean, which will also include experts from outside the Faculty.

In each category, one award is presented; in exceptional cases, an honourable mention may also be granted. The award includes a diploma and an extraordinary financial reward of CZK 10,000. The Faculty management will announce the awards ceremonially in the spring, and the laureates will subsequently present their awarded achievements at the Faculty’s internal conference.
