Personal budgeting, employment law, and investments—these are areas that fundamentally impact your quality of life during and after your studies. Yet, they are rarely covered in standard lectures. That is why the UWB Counseling Center has joined forces with Nekrachni, an organization specializing in financial education for Gen Z. Together, they are hosting a workshop titled Financial Superhacks on Wednesday, 13 May, at 17:00 at Kulturka in Pilsen.
The goal of the session is to equip students with practical skills for everyday life. Participants will learn how to set realistic financial goals and, more importantly, how to stick to them. The workshop will also tackle the "jungle" of labor relations, explaining your financial obligations to the state and what to watch out for when signing employment contracts.
Another key topic will be safe investing and fact-checking information. In a world full of "get-rich-quick" schemes, critical thinking is your best defense against financial loss. By the end of the workshop, participants will have a better understanding of potential risks and a solid foundation for making secure financial decisions.
The Financial Superhacks workshop is free. Those interested can register via the online event form.
