The Ladislav Sutnar Faculty of Design and Art at the University of West Bohemia in Pilsen, in collaboration with Prague's Altán Klamovka gallery, invites you this summer to an exhibition titled Bias Protocol. The author is Michal Poustka, a doctoral student at the Sutnar Faculty, who explores how digital technologies filter our perception of the world. The exhibition runs from Thursday, June 11, to July 9 at Altán Klamovka gallery in Prague. The opening vernissage takes place on Wednesday, June 10, at 6:00 PM.

According to the author, this is not another technophobic manifesto. Poustka doesn't preach about the dangers of smartphones. He builds an environment that visitors enter with their own bodies, given space and time to discover what happens inside them. The immersive installation turns the logic of digital media inside out: technologies that normally overwhelm people with notifications and addictive loops here slow down. They make you watch yourself, not the feed.

The question the exhibition poses is neither simple nor comfortable: Where does the algorithm end and where do you begin? "The digital bubble is not a prison someone locked us into. It is a space we build ourselves with every click, every reaction, every piece of content we are willing to accept as true," said curator Lenka Sýkorová.

The exhibition also includes three VR workshops open to the public. Participants draw in the air, and their creations become part of the installation. The first workshop takes place on Thursday, June 11, from 2:00 to 4:00 PM. Designed for children, it invites participants to explore what it means to add something of their own to a shared digital world. The second workshop is for adults and runs at the same time but a week later, on June 18. Its theme is what you leave behind in spaces you help shape. The final workshop focuses on different perspectives, different gestures, and one shared space. It is designed for parents with children and takes place on Thursday, June 25, again from 2:00 to 4:00 PM.
