Have you already signed up for ArtCamp? If not, now is the time. Interest in the summer art courses is high again this year, and the remaining places are filling up quickly. ArtCamp at the Ladislav Sutnar Faculty of Design and Art will take place from 13 to 31 July 2026. This year’s programme offers 43 courses, including new topics. Current availability of places open to international participants can be checked here. Applications are open until the end of May.

Whether art is their hobby, they are preparing for art studies, or they are already experienced creators, participants have a lot to choose from among the week-long courses on offer. They can explore both traditional and contemporary artistic techniques, ranging from drawing and painting to creating in augmented reality. The programme will also include accompanying events and inspiring meetings with guest lecturers arriving from countries including Italy, Germany, Japan, Scotland, and Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Alongside well-established and popular courses in figure drawing, graphic design, photography, illustration, drawing, painting, bookbinding, animation, and more, this year’s programme newly introduces courses in videomapping, author’s photobooks, creative writing, visual communication, and environmental design.

The summer courses offer an opportunity to develop talent, explore a wide range of artistic techniques, meet new people, and learn from experienced artists from the Czech Republic and abroad. For prospective students, they also provide valuable preparation for talent exams.
