This September, you can take part in the Let's Clean Up the Czech Republic volunteer initiative again. Although the campaign’s nationwide clean-up day is on September 20, the UWB campus will be cleaned up a few days later. Volunteers at the university will pick up their trash bags on Thursday, September 24. Anyone willing to lend a hand is welcome to join. Just bring sturdy shoes and comfortable clothing. UWB will provide gloves, bags, and all other necessary equipment. Participants will meet at 5 p.m. in front of the Rectorate building. The clean-up will conclude around 6:30 p.m.
Why get involved? You’ll do something good for the environment and your local community, meet new people, boost your mental well-being, and help strengthen the university's community spirit. September 24 is World Gorilla Day; you can tackle the cleanup with them in mind. You are welcome to register using this form.
