Five personalities, different techniques and artistic focuses, but they have one thing in common. They have fundamentally shaped and continue to shape the Ladislav Sutnar Faculty of Design and Art at the University of West Bohemia in Pilsen. Mikoláš Axmann, Boris Jirků, Karel Míšek, Josef Mištera and Benedikt Tolar. Whether they were there at the very beginning of Sutnarka or began to help develop it later, it is they who have significantly influenced the educational and creative character of the school, its form, and at the same time the Czech art scene.

The exhibition Four in the Picture and One in the Bathtub at the Ladislav Sutnar Gallery in Pilsen will map the work of this artistic quintet for the very first time. The opening will take place on Wednesday, January 14, at 6 p.m. The works of these artists will be on display until February 18. Those interested can also come to a guided tour on February 17 at 5 p.m. The exhibition is curated by Daniela Kramerová.
