Participants will have the opportunity to enter the world of CNC technologies, learn to program cutting-edge manufacturing machines, and gain experience that will open doors to further studies and professional practice. All this awaits students from vocational secondary schools and grammar schools at the summer school organized by the Department of Machining Technology at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering (FME) of the University of West Bohemia. Building on last year’s success, the FME is expanding the program. This year, the course is open not only to beginners but also to advanced participants who have either completed last year’s course or already have experience with CNC technologies through their studies or practical training at secondary school.
Participants will have a unique opportunity to work with professional technologies and learn under the guidance of experienced experts. The teaching combines theoretical foundations with hands-on training on real CNC machines. In cooperation with SolidCAM, participants will even be able to obtain internationally recognized certificates demonstrating their expertise in CAM software, which will help them succeed in the job market. The eNCéčko Summer School thus offers not only valuable experience but also inspiration for further studies and career paths in mechanical engineering and manufacturing technologies.
The eNCéčko Summer School for beginners will begin on Monday, 13 July, and run until Friday, 17 July. More experienced participants can further develop their machining skills a month later. The advanced course runs from Monday, 17 August, to Friday, 21 August. Applications (CS only) can be submitted until 30 June.
