In collaboration with the American Center in Plzeň, the University Library invites you to movie nights at the Library Bory. The second film to be screened will be "Conan The Barbarian" (1982).

Embark with other brave viewers on a journey into the mystical world of Conan the Barbarian! The year 1982 brought us an incredible tale full of adventure, magic, and the struggle for survival. This cult fantasy, based on the character created by the legendary Robert E. Howard, introduces us to Arnold Schwarzenegger in the role of Conan, a fierce warrior who becomes an unstoppable fighter after a tragic fate befalls him. Immerse yourself in this epic saga full of thrilling battles, magic, and unprecedented adventures, and enjoy a unique cinematic experience.

You can look forward to a series of four films during the library's movie nights: on Wednesday, February 21st, "Clash of the Titans" (1981); on Wednesday, March 13th, the cult classic "Conan The Barbarian" (1982); on Wednesday, April 10th, "Highlander" (1986); and finally, on Wednesday, May 15th, "The Princess Bride" (1987).

The films will be screened in collaboration with the American Center in Plzeň in English with Czech subtitles, and each screening will be introduced in English by Bradley Vice, a lecturer at the Faculty of Education specializing in American literature. The screenings will take place in the hall of the Library Bory (Univerzitní 18) starting at 5:00 p.m.
