The lecture on the topic of Archaeological Research on Mass Executions of Roma in Slovenia during World War II will be presented by Uroš Košir, who said: "Although it is known that Roma and Sinti in Slovenia were persecuted by German and Italian occupying forces, it is also a fact that the Partisan Revolutionary Party committed numerous war crimes and massacres of Roma on Slovenian territory. So far, four locations with mass and individual graves of Roma victims killed by the Partisans have been discovered and investigated. Archaeological and anthropological research has provided insight into the course of the massacres and into the lives and deaths of these men, women and children."
The lecture will be held in English.
