FIGURAMA is an international project focused on figurative art (drawing, painting, sculpture), aiming to map and compare approaches to depicting the human body at various participating art schools across Europe. FIGURAMA also serves another crucial purpose. It guides students to understand that drawing, including figurative drawing, is an indispensable part of all artistic disciplines.
The founder of this project is Professor Boris Jirků, who teaches figurative drawing and painting at Sutnarc.
