Above the University of West Bohemia flies the flag for Tibet
This year, the University of West Bohemia in Plzeň has also joined the event that commemorates the Tibetan uprising against the Chinese occupation of Tibet every year. Anyone can help.
The tenth day of March has become a traditional day for the international campaign Flag for Tibet, which originated in the mid-1990s and is one of the most significant actions in support of Tibet. This year marks the 65th anniversary of the Tibetan uprising.
The Tibetan flag as a symbol of solidarity once again flies on the campus of the University of West Bohemia in Plzeň.
Those interested in more than just symbolic support can do so through the Lungta civic association, which organizes not only the Flag for Tibet event but also a public collection to support the Diskit and Tikse monastery schools in Indian Ladakh or the dissemination of information about Tibet.
