150 scientists, researchers, and students are discussing computational trends in various fields topics such as electromagnetism, structural mechanics, fluid dynamics, quantum physics, and chemistry. The conference also includes so-called minisymposia, which focus on climate modeling and atmospheric phenomena, the development of numerical models for multiphysical problems, applied statistics, fluid mechanics, the use of digital twins, and cloud and GPU computing. Selected papers will also be published in prestigious scientific journals with an impact factor.

The ESCO (European Seminar on Computing) conference is organized by the Department of Electrical Engineering and Computer Modeling of the Faculty of Electrical Engineering at the University of West Bohemia. Representatives from the Office of Naval Research Global Prague are also participating in the event, which underscores its significance.

Among the main speakers are world-renowned experts such as Irina Tezaur (Sandia NL, USA), Anthony Thornton (University of Twente, Netherlands), William D. Collins (Berkeley Lab, USA), and Stefan Turek (Dortmund Technical University, Germany).

In addition to professional discussions, the conference also offers a great opportunity for networking. Participants can look forward to interesting workshops, poster sessions, and a rich social program, which includes a concert by the music group Zakkiss Trio on Tuesday.
