You may not have known that there is also a chapel at Nečtiny Chateau, which houses the Training and Accommodation Facility of the University of West Bohemia in Pilsen. The Chapel of the Assumption of the Virgin Mary is located in the prismatic tower in the right wing of the castle. Interestingly, the prismatic tower was the only part of the castle spared in the fire that hit the castle in 1964, so you can still admire the original interior with carved wooden benches.
Don't believe it? Come and see the chapel on Friday 23 May at the Nečtiny Chateau in the village of Hrad Nečtiny in the northern Pilsen region. It will be accessible all day from 10:00 and festively lit from 18:00 to 22:00. A bar in the main building of the castle will also be open for visitors to buy light snacks and drinks.
