The Rector's Prize of UWB in the Sportsman of Pilsen 2024 competition has athlete Adéla Hanáková

On Tuesday 8 April, the City of Pilsen awarded the best Pilsen athletes for 2024 in the youth and junior categories in the ceremonial hall of the City Hall. The Rector's Prize of UWB, awarded for combining studies and sport, was given to Adéla Hanáková from the gymnasium on Mikulášské náměstí.
The Pilsen Sportsman 2024 poll knows its winners. The traditional awarding of the Rector's Prize of the University of West Bohemia in Pilsen for combining sporting and academic results is part of the ceremony of the competition in the category of youth. This award was received from the Vice-Rector for Creative Activities and Doctoral Studies Jiří Hammerbauer in the hall of the Pilsen Town Hall by the
athlete Adéla Hanáková, a student of the Gymnasium, Pilsen, Mikulášské náměstí.
In the category of older pupils, the winner was athlete Veronika Břízová, a member of AK Škoda Plzeň, while the winner for the pupils was tennis player Tereza Krejčová from TK Slavia Plzeň.
The junior category, which is announced without ranking, was dominated by Julie Rubášová (swimming), Lukáš Šimek (Thai boxing), Vanda Šlehoferová (fencing) and Pavel Veselý (archery).
