The audio-visual installation PAVUČINA (Spider's Web) is an artistic treatment of the life of insects in the evening street. Attracted by the hypnotic LED glow of public lighting fixtures, the insects do not fulfill the purpose of their nocturnal journey: they do not feed on nectar, do not spread pollen, and often do not even live to see the morning. This nocturnal insect "dance" attracts spiders, who strategically place their webs around the light sources to ensure a steady supply of food.
Through artistic expression, the work highlights the environmental impact of inappropriate public lighting and its role in the degradation of insect ecosystems.
