The Ladislav Sutnar Faculty of Design and Art at the University of West Bohemia in Pilsen invites the general public to an exhibition showcasing the work of doctoral students of the Interdisciplinary Research Through Visual Arts. The exhibition presents the current artistic output of young creators who, in addition to their research, also contribute to the teaching in studios at the faculty.
The exhibition at Klenová will feature works by Markéta Kalivodová, Lukáš Kellner, Eva Šindelářová, Andrea Uhliarová, and Kristina Zejkanová. Each artist brings a unique background and disciplinary focus—from ceramics and painting to new media and interior design. Visitors can look forward to a diverse range of artistic approaches and media, reflecting both the individual artistic research of the participants and the character of the faculty’s various studios.
The opening reception will take place on Saturday, May 31 at 3 PM in the Sýpka (granary) at Klenová. The opening will include a performance by Eva Šindelářová, which will also be presented on June 1, 7, 8, 14, and 15, each day at 2 PM.
The exhibition will run from June 1 to June 15 at the Klatovy / Klenová Gallery, Klenová granary.
The curators of the exhibition are Josef Mištera and Jiří Machalický.
