This year’s traditional November concert of the Academic Choir of the Faculty of Education will feature a varied program with works by composers such as František Škroup, Anton Bruckner, Johann Sebastian Bach, and Antonio Vivaldi. The concert will also include a performance by the Pilsen Conservatoire Choir, with whom the academic choir has maintained long-term cooperation.
The musical evening will be enriched by guest organist Marek Štrbák from the University of Nitra, visiting Pilsen as part of the Erasmus+ program. In addition to his solo performance, he will also accompany the vocal performances of the students from the Department of Music Culture of the Faculty of Education, University of West Bohemia.
"Each year, the concert brings joy through music and mutual encounters of students and teachers. This time, we can look forward to powerful moments and beautiful interpretations of classical sacred works," said Vít Aschenbrenner, conductor of the academic choir.
