Cooperation High school students
The task for nearly forty teams from six regions of the Czech Republic was to design, build, and defend their own robotic vehicle before a jury. These are the rules of the ROBO2025 competition for robotic helpers. Each team had only a few hours not only to justify the construction of its machine, but also to drive the marked course against the clock. Every robot had to carry a cup filled with a precisely measured amount of water — without spilling a drop along the way. The judging focused on speed, design, presentation, and overall build quality.
The long-term goal of the competition is to support technical education and strengthen digital skills, which are crucial for the future job market. The region sees this connection as a key part of its future. “Robotics, technical education, and cooperation between schools and companies are strategic priorities for us. We want talented students to grow, to have access to modern technology, and to return to the region after their studies. We need experts who can help move the Pilsen Region forward — and competitions like ROBO2025 give them a great chance to show what they can do,” said Deputy Governor for Education and Sports, Vladimír Kroc.
