Get an insight into nanomaterials and biomedical engineering, tour selected laboratories, get a great view from the roof of the building, or take a trip through the constellations of the night sky. All this and much more will be offered to visitors on Saturday 9 November from 9 am to 1 pm.

The Faculty of Applied Sciences is the only institution in the Pilsen Region (except for the Pilsen Institute of the CAS) that has joined the festival of the Week of the Academy of Sciences of the Czech Republic. Visitors will see the Faculty's premises, including selected laboratories, meet our experts, and learn about the topics we are working on at the Faculty. Our robotic greenhouse will be accessible throughout the event, our robotic dog SPOT will be roaming the building, and we will also open the faculty roof, where a portion of the architecture/urbanism lecture will take place, weather permitting.

Visitors who come by car can park for free in the parking lot of the building. The event is open to the general public.
