The Faculty of Education welcomed a delegation from the University of Greifswald
International Cooperation University
Students and teachers from the departments of German, Russian, and Czech language were satisfied.
The Faculty of Education at the University of West Bohemia welcomed the large group of visitors coming from partner University of Greifswald in Germany on 28 and 29 February 2024. Thanks to the close cooperation of three departments – of German, Russian and Czech language and literature – the rich study and cultural program for twenty students and their four teachers was prepared.
The guests were made familiar with opportunities for student exchanges within Departments of German and Russian languages and took part in several classes too. Some of the university colleagues were involved in Czech seminars where utilised their good knowledge of Czech language, e.g. on giving the lecture „Linguistic landscape”.
The reward for all involved departments, it is a great satisfaction with the program of excursion and partnership and interest in a further cooperation.
"Thank you very much for the excellent organization of the excursion and a truly well-prepared program. Our students were thrilled, and so were we," conveyed Ivana Terš Čechová from Greifswald.
