The rector paid tribute to Tomáš Garrigue Masaryk
The traditional commemorative event took place on Thursday, March 7th, at the Monument of National Liberation on Masaryk Square in Pilsen.
Residents of Pilsen, representatives of the city and the Pilsen Region, members of both chambers of parliament, and other significant institutions, including the rector of the University of West Bohemia in Pilsen, Miroslav Lávička, gathered on March 7th for the traditional commemorative event marking the anniversary of the birth of the first Czechoslovak president. This year marks 164 years since the birth of T. G. Masaryk.
