The Department of Music Education and Culture of the Faculty of Education of ZČU invites the academic community to the 2nd Czech-Brazilian conference Education, Art, Digital Technology in Teaching. The conference will take place on May 6 and 7, 2024 in the historic Semler residence.

This conference represents a unique meeting of experts and pedagogues from the field of education, art and digital technology, who will deal with innovative approaches to teaching and the use of modern technologies in education. We will welcome guests from Brazil, Poland, Hungary, Slovakia and the Czech Republic who will present their visions and practical experience in this area.

The conference will also include the author's concert "Jan Vičar 75", which will take place in the hall of the Faculty of Pedagogy of the ZČU in Veleslavínova Street. This concert will feature the compositions of department's pedagogue, prominent Czech composer, musicologist and pedagogue, Professor Jan Vičar. This concert will be an opportunity to celebrate his significant life anniversary and to commemorate his significant contribution to music and education. In this context, the new Seiler grand piano will be ceremonially commissioned.
