Only that society is rich which uses the wealth of the mind. This year, the Researchers' Night will open laboratories and classrooms at the University of West Bohemia in Pilsen under the subtitle Wealth. Moreover, this year it will celebrate its 20th anniversary.

On one day a year, universities, science centres, research centres and other facilities in hundreds of locations across Europe are open in the evening and at night for free guided tours, lectures, workshops, experiments and science shows. The aim of the Night of Scientists is to break down the myths about scientists as people locked in laboratories and to show the general public that they do work that benefits all of us, that they can present it in an engaging way, and that they can also have fun.

Are you looking forward to seeing what the scientists from UWB will show this year? The subtitle of this year's anniversary edition is Wealth. We will unveil the programme during the summer. But you can already look forward to an adventure on the UWB campus. We will meet on Friday, September 26.
