From 23 to 25 April, the Faculty of Health Care Studies of the University of West Bohemia in Pilsen welcomed other Slovak colleagues from the partner University in Prešov. This time it was Mária Porochnavá from the Department of Public Procurement and Property Registration and Lucia Senková from the Department of Public Procurement.

The purpose of the visit was to exchange information in the field of public procurement and asset registration, and thus gain new experiences that colleagues can present at their home alma mater.

The discussion also deepened the cooperation between the two friendly institutions, as the Faculty of Health Care Studies and the University of Prešov have a long-standing partnership, especially in the field of student and staff mobility. This visit was again an example that in addition to the mobility of academic staff, mobility of administrative staff and female staff of the respective faculty departments also takes place.

Mária Porochnavá and Lucia Senkova got to know the environment of the Faculty of Health Care Studies, its professional classrooms and simulation centre including the teaching equipment. In order to get acquainted with the medical facility, their stay was enriched by an excursion to the Medical Rescue Service of the Pilsen Region, and since this was their first encounter with Pilsen, the colleagues also appreciated the tour of the UWB campus and the historical centre of Pilsen. The cultural programme included a trip to Karlovy Vary and a visit to Pilsner Urquell.
