Courses Art of Midwifery and Rebozo for midwives were held at the FZS

The midwives welcomed the lecturer and mentor of midwifery practice Anna Kohutová, who gave the course participants information from her practice.

On 27th and 28th March the Faculty of Health Care Studies of the University of West Bohemia in Pilsen welcomed a rare visitor - midwifery lecturer Anna Kohutová, who came all the way from Havířov. Anna Kohutová prepared courses for midwives from practice and for students of midwifery.

"During the two courses, The Art of Midwifery and Rebozo, a lot of interesting midwifery information was covered and there were also some practical trainings. Thus, midwives from practice and our students had the opportunity to try out external examination of a pregnant woman, support of the pregnant belly with garter scarves or care of a woman in pregnancy, during childbirth and after childbirth with a rebozo scarf," evaluates the course of this educational event the Head of the Department of Nursing and Midwifery of the Faculty of Health Care Studies Jiří Frei.
