The exhibition of Boris Jirků, a painter, sculptor, illustrator, professor, and rector emeritus of VŠUP, will be presented as a fleeting flight over his studio in both main exhibition halls. The selection of his work will focus on larger canvases, complemented by smaller formats and wooden sculptures in the space.

Boris Jirků's main focus is on depicting the human body in various positions, often from a perspective or overhead view, using bold colours and black and white tones. He also creates works featuring landscape views, architecture, and still life. Jirků exhibits regularly and has participated in numerous collective exhibitions both domestically and internationally. In addition to his artistic and pedagogical activities, the individual's major focus is on implementing the international Figurama project. This project aims to map and support the teaching of various approaches to figurative work, including drawing, painting, and sculpture, in European art schools.
