For the thirteenth time, the Ladislav Sutnar Faculty of Design and Art will award a prize honoring the life and work of the Pilsen-born, internationally renowned designer Ladislav Sutnar. On Tuesday, November 5, you will have a unique opportunity to meet this year's laureates in person.

The Meet&Greet event starts at 2 pm in the Multilab on the ground floor of the Ladislav Sutnar Faculty of Design and Art at the University of West Bohemia in Pilsen. Students, teachers and the professional public will be able to listen to the lectures:

designer, writer and teacher Debbie Millman, author of the popular podcast Design Matters (USA),

Penny Macbeth, the Director of the prestigious The Glasgow School of Art (Scotland),

Madoky Nishi, Chief Editor of IDEA Magazine, a renowned Japanese magazine on graphic design, typography and visual culture.

The lectures will be followed by the opening of an exhibition of this year's winners in the Incubator Gallery at 15:30. The exhibition will be open until November 21.

The prestigious award recognizes outstanding artists, educators and institutions from the Czech Republic and abroad for their contribution to the field of applied art and design. The prize is awarded with the permission of Ladislav Sutnar's son, Mr. Radoslav L. Sutnar.
