The basic principle of contemporary pedagogy, even in higher education, is learner-centred learning. And according to Lucie Rohlíková, this should not be just a platitude. "No one is going to force all university lecturers to improve their pedagogical skills. But each of them can know that there are different forms of teaching and learning strategies, and try to adapt their practices according to the learner group they teach," says an expert on university pedagogy from the University of West Bohemia in Pilsen.
