In the coming years, there will be significant changes in the demand for digital skills, which will also reshape the job market. The Sustainable Future conference will focus on the upcoming development of technologies, market trends, demographic changes, and their impact on employees and employers. A key topic will also be digital security and the onset of the quantum revolution. Experts from various fields will discuss the need for continuous learning, technological advancements, and the importance of an interdisciplinary approach.

Inspirational speakers will include:

  • David Navrátil – Chief Economist and Director of Economic and Strategic Analysis, Česká spořitelna
  • Jaroslav Miller – Deputy Minister, Ministry of Education, Youth, and Sports of the Czech Republic
  • Kateřina Duspivová – Analyst,STEM Institute for Empirical Research
  • Jan Kubr and Alena Lochmannová – Faculty of Health Care Studies, UWB
  • Pavel Štěpáník – Deputy Director, National Cyber and Information Security Agency
  • Jan Váně – Vice-Rector for External Relations and Communication, UWB

We will also attempt to stream a greeting from Petr Kavalíř, Director of the NTC Research Institute at UWB and the Czech Government’s Quantum Technology Envoy, live from the Quantum Technologies Conference in Portugal.

This event is part of the University’s community marketing initiative and the third annual Week for Digital Czechia.
