After an audit, the faculty successfully defended its international ISO 9001:2015 certification. It remains the sole holder of this certification within the entire university and undergoes regular audits by an independent accredited certification body. In addition to aligning internal processes and regulations with this standard, the certification also signifies a clear commitment to continuous improvement.

"The certification significantly contributes to our role as a credible partner for our collaborating institutions in both academic and industrial spheres," added Martin Melichar, the vice-dean for internationalization.

The Faculty of Mechanical Engineering was first certified according to the international standard ISO 9001:2015 in April 2014. Even after 10 years since implementing this quality system, the faculty continues to successfully defend its certification.
