The University of West Bohemia in Pilsen offers for sale an iconic building at Tylova 59

Press Release University Public

The University of West Bohemia in Pilsen (UWB) announces a new offer for the sale of the iconic building at Tylova 59. It formerly served as the headquarters of Skoda Plants. It was home to the Faculty of Health Care Studies and the Faculty of Economics.

Due to the current development plans, the university has no further use for the building and is looking for a new investor. The building is currently unused, making it an exceptional investment opportunity for development projects. Due to its size and strategic location, the building offers a variety of uses - from office space to light manufacturing to warehouse or multifunctional facilities. Given the limited supply of office space in Pilsen, it is an exceptional investment opportunity with high potential.

The university has decided to cooperate with IMAP Redbaenk, a consulting company specializing in private transactions. Their task is to approach potential investors and find a suitable partner to help the university realize this project. Based on a current expert opinion, the market value of the property is EUR 174.6 million CZK. The minimum sale price has not been set.

The building is located in an attractive location with excellent accessibility and easy access to the centre of Pilsen. The building with an area of more than 16,000 m² is located near Emil Škoda Square, which is awaiting extensive revitalization. The planned new apartments, shops and offices in this area will further increase the attractiveness of the whole area.
