Some classes are still open for enrollment until the start of the courses. Full details are available on the website.

ArtCamp will host 387 participants this year across 37 diverse courses led by artists from the Czech Republic and abroad. “The highest demand was for animation, illustration, jewelry design, figure drawing, and the returning fashion design course,” said Lenka Kodýtková, ArtCamp’s operations director. Technical and Economic Courses for Children and Youth
The Faculty of Electrical Engineering (FEL) is preparing its traditional JuniorFEL program for the end of August, aimed at elementary school pupils and students of multi-year grammar schools. Participants will explore the basics of electricity and robot programming. The Faculty of Economics is organizing its Homo Economicus summer school in the second week of July, subtitled Crafts and Trade Through the Ages. Attendees will delve into the history and present of Plzeň as an important trade center. Other summer offerings include schools focused on construction, computer science, and Mechcamp, which emphasizes mechanics.
A Summer Full of Discovery and Experience for Seniors Too / July 14–25, 2025
Participants of the University of the Third Age (U3V) are not missing out on summer activities either. The program includes guided walks through lesser-known neighborhoods of Plzeň, excursions to the Brdy region, exercise sessions, guided tours of Loos interiors, and a photography workshop focused on capturing city architecture at sunset. “The U3V Summer School offers not only educational opportunities but also a chance to meet friends, explore new places, and enjoy an active summer,” says Magdalena Toušová, head of U3V at the University of West Bohemia.
A full list of all 17 summer schools—including those focused on robotics or political science—is available at this link.
