In late August and early September, a gathering of participants involved in the project "Management of Science and Sociology - Norwegian-Czech Cooperation" took place.

This event brought together sociologists and political scientists from our university, alongside researchers from the Faculty of Arts at Palacký University in Olomouc, and colleagues from Oslo Metropolitan University in Norway.

During this gathering, numerous research papers were presented, reflecting the outcomes of our ongoing research efforts. Furthermore, a meeting between the Vice-rectors of both institutions, namely Carl Christian Thodesen of Oslo Metropolitan University and Jan Váně of the University of West Bohemia in Pilsen, occurred. They engaged in discussions regarding the future potential for expanding collaboration between our universities. Jan Kaňák from the Department of Sociology and Social Work and Petr Jurek with Pavel Hulec from the Department of Politics and International Relations of the Faculty of Arts of the UWB also participated.
