In collaboration with the American Center in Plzeň, the University Library invites you to movie nights at the Library Bory. The first film to be screened will be "Clash of the Titans" (1981).

Join other viewers on an unforgettable cinematic journey into Greek mythology with the classic 1981 film "Clash of the Titans"! This epic movie will transport you into a world of gods, titans, and heroic adventures that you will never forget.

The film not only delivers stunning visual effects and breathtaking clashes of titans for its time but also a story of heroism, courage, and loyalty. It's an immensely exciting experience and now an integral part of cinematic history.

You can look forward to a series of four films during the library's movie nights: on Wednesday, February 21st, "Clash of the Titans" (1981); on Wednesday, March 13th, the cult classic "Conan The Barbarian" (1982); on Wednesday, April 10th, "Highlander" (1986); and finally, on Wednesday, May 15th, "The Princess Bride" (1987).

The films will be screened in collaboration with the American Center in Plzeň in English with Czech subtitles, and each screening will be introduced in English by Bradley Vice, a lecturer at the Faculty of Education specializing in American literature. The screenings will take place in the hall of the Library Bory (Univerzitní 18) starting at 5:00 p.m.
