The One World festival is beginning, and the University of West Bohemia is participating

The traditional event invites audiences to documentary and feature films, discussions, and accompanying programs.
The One World International Human Rights Film Festival traditionally takes place not only in Prague but also in Plzeň, among other 47 cities. In the West Bohemian metropolis, this year from March 22nd to March 28th, it will offer 25 documentaries, six virtual reality films, a discussion program with interesting guests, and short films for children. In addition to documentaries, this year's program also includes four feature films about human rights.

The University of West Bohemia in Plzeň is also contributing to the program. How? The Ladislav Sutnar Faculty of Design and Art will become one of the screening venues on Thursday, March 28th, inviting screenings of " Notes from Eremocén" and " Queendom".

Dean of the Faculty of Arts David Šanc will be a guest at the discussion on Wednesday, March 27th, preceding the screening of " Hollywoodgate Base" at Moving Station.

Monika Baumanová, an Africanist and archaeologist specializing in historical archaeology and Africa from the same faculty, will participate in a discussion at Moving Station on Monday, March 25th, following the screening of " Between the Rains".

ZČU Ombudsman Petr Šimon will be a guest at a discussion on March 25th after the screening of " Undesirable" at Polan Hall in the Plzeň City Library.

The accompanying program of the festival also includes an exhibition by the Ladislav Sutnar Faculty of Design and Art. A number of ZČU students have been involved in the festival for a long time, holding various positions. They are moderators, members of the production team, and much-needed volunteers.
