From 18th to 20th March, the Faculty of Health Care Studies of the University of West Bohemia hosted another Slovak colleagues from the partner University in Prešov. This time it was visited by Dagmar Kamenčíková from the HR and legal department, Martina Sedláková, who works at the HR department, and Zuzana Farkašová from the study department.

Faculty of Health Care Studies has long-term standing cooperation with the Slovak university in the field of staff and student mobilities, namely in the field of Radiology Assistance. This visit confirmed that it is not only about mobility of academics, but also of administrative staff of various departments of the faculty.

The visit included an introduction to the administrative activities at the Faculty of Health Care Studies, the scope of work of the administrative staff of each department, the organizational structure of the faculty and the information systems used. The Slovak colleagues had the opportunity to get to know the working environment of the faculty, the system of work and, of course, to compare the administrative activities with their home university. We believe that they took away new suggestions and ideas for efficiency improvement of the administrative processes.

The programme also included a tour of the professional classrooms and the simulation centre of the Faculty of Health Care Studies, where the Slovak colleagues got to know the teaching equipment of the faculty. They also appreciated the tour of the university campus, thanks to which they could get to know the organizational structure of UWB, and very positively evaluated the guided tour of the city centre of Pilsen, from which they left full with new information.

Every year our colleagues return to our faculty, as well as students from the University of Prešov, which we appreciate very much. We appreciate this long-term cooperation.
