International Study

The Faculty of Economics, University of West Bohemia in Pilsen (UWB) has obtained accreditation for a unique and modern bachelor's degree program, which is now open for applications for prospective students.

This program offers interdisciplinary and intercultural educational opportunities for high school graduates not only from the Czech Republic and Germany but also from Poland, Slovakia, Austria, Switzerland, Finland, the USA, the Netherlands, and other countries. The study program focuses on technical-economic education in line with the demands of corporate practice. The instruction is conducted in English and provides students with the opportunity to obtain a double degree from two universities simultaneously, one from the Czech Republic and one from Germany. This four-year professional bachelor's program appropriately combines economic and technical education, thus preparing graduates for careers in an international dynamic environment. The program also includes two six-month internships in international companies and organizations, enabling students to gain practical experience and establish valuable industry contacts.

"We are very proud to offer this 21st-century study program focused on management and the increasingly relevant field of digital technologies. The program provides not only excellent education but also practical experience and an international perspective," said Michaela Krechovská, Dean of the Faculty of Economics. "Thanks to our collaboration with our German partners, our students will be able to study in both the Czech Republic and Germany, thereby gaining broader and more comprehensive knowledge, skills, and experience."
