Miloš Železný was elected in the first round of the first election, where he had no opponent. Of the 15 senators and senators present, all voted for Miloš Železný. There were no abstentions.
"I am pleased with the trust I have received from the members of the Academic Senate of the Faculty of Applied Sciences, and I will be honored to lead the Faculty in the next four-year term. I want to maintain the high level of research and education that we are engaged in at the Faculty of Applied Sciences. I wish that the Faculty of Applied Sciences will continue to be a place where young talented students become top professionals who can easily find a place on the labor market and in a dynamically changing world," said Miloš Železný on his re-election. The university rector appoints the Dean to his post. Miloš Železný will head the Faculty of Applied Sciences from 1 March 2025 to 28 February 2029.
Doc. Ing. Miloš Železný, Ph.D. , (*1971) has held the position of Vice-Dean for the Concept of Studies and Pedagogical Affairs of the Faculty of Arts since 2014. However, he has been working at the faculty, specifically at its Department of Cybernetics, since 1997. Since 2012 he has been an associate professor in the Department of Cybernetics and since 2014 he has also been a member of the NTIS Centre's VP1 research programme. His expertise is in computer image processing and its applications in medicine, industry, and human-machine communication.
