Student Scientific Conference of the Faculty of Applied Sciences knows its winners

Competition Students Science

On 23 May 2024, the Faculty of Applied Sciences (FAS) held its traditional Student Scientific Conference (SSC), during which students presented the results of their bachelor's, master's, or doctoral theses and other study activities.

This year, the SSC was divided into two sections - for master's and doctoral students and for undergraduate students. The traditional aim of the conference is to allow all registrants to present the results of their professional activities to the evaluation jury and other participants. These are primarily the results of bachelor and master theses or dissertations, field projects, and more extensive term papers.

The SSC Committee's Chairman, Prof. Pavel Novák, opened the event. Subsequently, students presented their works according to a predetermined schedule. In the end, the results were announced, and prizes were awarded under the leadership of Prof. Novák and the sponsors' representatives. Each participant received a faculty gift package and an extraordinary scholarship. In addition, the winners received a financial reward and material prizes from FAS and partner companies that sponsored the conference.

Results of the jury's evaluation (the topic of the paper is indicated in brackets):
