The Ladislav Sutnar Faculty of Design and Art at the University of West Bohemia in Pilsen presents another exhibition from the Creative Crossroads series. Subtitled Homecoming, the exhibition will showcase the work of four faculty students who spent several months studying at universities in southern Europe. The exhibition reflects how living and studying in a different cultural environment shapes artistic thinking, strengthens creative self-confidence, and transforms one's view of one's own work in an international context.

Creative Crossroads: Homecoming will showcase the work of Zuzana Březinová (New Media studio), Barbora Burianová (Didactic Illustration studio), Barbora Chotěborová (Graphic Design and Visual Communication studio), and Sára Nygrýnová (Photography studio). At foreign schools, the artists boldly and openly experimented with techniques and approaches that were less familiar to them. According to exhibition curator Daniela Kramerová, the works on display cover a wide range of media – from classic graphic techniques, illustration, drawing, painting, and collage to photography and moving images. Another characteristic feature is the tendency to combine different techniques and media.

The exhibition at the faculty's Incubator Gallery will be opened on Wednesday, February 18, at 4 p.m. Students and the public are invited to the opening. The works of the four students will be on display until April 8, every weekday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
