A law student defends her title in Pardubice, completing the race in 1:13.29.

On Saturday April 9, Tereza Hrochová, a student of the Faculty of Law at the University of West Bohemia, took part in the Czech National Half Marathon Championship as the favorite contestant. Less than an hour and a quarter later Tereza, in the blue and white colors of her home club, AK Škoda Plzeň, passed the finish line, dominating the championship once again. Her victory in Pardubice meant the third gold in the half marathon race for the young athlete.

"From the start, she ran alone in windy weather. Even so, Tereza was able to complete the race in a wonderful time of 1:13.29, thanks to which she won her third title in this event. Her goals in this year's season are the world and European championships, for which she has been preparing in the Italian Alps, where she plans to return after winning the gold medal," the AK Škoda Plzeň club comments on Tereza's success.

Tereza Hrochová also competed in last year's Tokyo Summer Olympics. She is one of the gifted students at the University of West Bohemia who receives support from the UNIS program, thanks to which she is able to combine her studies and top-level competitive sport.

Congratulations!
