Joint digital campus, study programmes, EUPeace European Track or research cooperation. This was not the only topic discussed by more than a hundred participants at the EUPeace All-Body Meeting in Adana, Turkey.

The largest meeting to date of all existing EUPeace bodies, including the Senate and Student Council, took place on 7 and 8 April at Cukurova University in Adana. The University of West Bohemia in Pilsen (UWB) was represented by nine members representing all the bodies of the Alliance.

The aim of the meeting was to hold partial and joint meetings of the different bodies and work packages, which focused on key objectives and initiatives of the Alliance, such as the creation of a common digital campus, joint study programmes, the EUPeace European Track, an initiative that aims to provide students with opportunities for appropriate international, intercultural and interdisciplinary cooperation, as well as research collaboration. In addition, the event included the first Strategic Forum, addressing the Alliance's strategy in achieving its goals.

"As the EUPeace alliance has entered a phase of stability and strengthening of partnership, the meeting in Adana offered a unique opportunity to discuss and shape the direction of the alliance and strengthen its influence on shaping future generations," said Josef Basl, vice rector of the University of West Bohemia for Strategy and Development, who personally attended the event in Adana together with the University rector Miroslav Lávička and other representatives.

ZČU has also started a new chairmanship of the Equality, Diversity & Inclusion Board within the Alliance. "The main topic that our commission will address under the chairmanship of ZČU is the so-called safe space on the campuses of the participating universities, both in terms of social and physical safety," said UWB ombudsman Petr Šimon.

On 22-23 September, UWB will host the Alliance's conference, EUPeace Conference 2025: Advancing Justice, Peace and Inclusiveness in Times of AI, which will be a space for multidisciplinary discussion on the impact of artificial intelligence on shaping current global challenges, as well as all four of the Alliance's main research themes.
