The University of West Bohemia in Pilsen was buzzing on Wednesday, March 15, with the popular University of West Bohemia Job Fair. For the twenty-eighth time, students and graduates had the opportunity to meet employers from the Czech Republic and abroad and see how much demand there is for them on the labour market. This year a total of 140 employers were able to approach them directly with offers of jobs, temporary work and internships. Both were happening, and so the fair filled the corridors, classrooms and other areas of the Faculty of Electrical Engineering, the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, the Faculty of Applied Sciences and the University Library from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

The Job Fair is traditionally organised by the UWB Student Union, which brings together all students and graduates, and the student organisation IAESTE UWB, which helps them find employment through HR projects and an international internship programme.

As always, a comprehensive catalogue was also published on the occasion of the fair, the 250 pages of which provided those interested with essential information on the exhibitors. The printed version of the catalogue was available at the event. Those who did not make it to the campus can at least download or browse the electronic version online.
