Research Assistant: Experience Web of Science's artificial intelligence with the University Library

University Science Employees

The prestigious citation database Web of Science plays an important role in the evaluation of science. The database is now complemented by a "Research Assistant" function based on generative artificial intelligence. Thanks to the library, you can also try out this function during September.

Research Assistant is more than just a chatbot. It helps you quickly find relevant articles and provides relevant, context-specific insights. Intelligent discovery helps you effortlessly interpret and explore the literature. Search also supports English, and you can ask questions in your natural language. The tool also offers visualization of citations, for example through the so-called article citation map. The university has set up a trial access to the "Research Assistant" function from 9 September to 30 September 2024.

And if you want to learn more about the Web of Science citation database or science assessment, visit the University Library website.
