The academic year 2024/2025 started with a traditional adaptation day for first-year students named "Freshman", this time thematically focused on Alice in Wonderland. As part of the game and an informal meeting, new students could get to know people from across the entire faculty and together try to solve complex tasks, thanks to which they went through the most important buildings of the faculty from the library to the study department, where they had the opportunity to learn a lot of information needed to enter university environment successfully.

At the same time, representatives of individual student associations took part in the event and informed new students about the possibility of participating in the rich leisure life at FA. During the day, as part of a short activity, the students also got to know the ombudsman of the UWB, Petr Šimon, and learned details about his role at the university.

The day ended with an afternoon meeting of the academic community of the Faculty of Arts in the courtyard Sedláčková Street. Here, new students met in an informal atmosphere with academics and other students from various departments of the faculty. After the opening speech, the program was supplemented by a performance by the vocal group The Foamies.
