If you're looking for inspiration for the upcoming summer holiday season, we have an interesting tip for you. You can use the services of the Training and Accommodation Centre of the University of ZČU at the castle in Nečtiny.

Nečtiny Castle, located 33 km north of Pilsen in the Manětínská Nature Park, is situated between the village of Úněšov and the town of Manětín. The sparsely populated area of the Manětín Upland is characterised by beautiful nature with nature reserves and a number of cultural sights and monuments. Well-marked hiking and cycling trails lead through the castle's surroundings. Electric bicycles, scooters and other sports equipment are available for hire directly from the Training and Accommodation Centre (ŠUZ).

"Guests can stay in the historic castle building in smaller single and double rooms, as well as in larger rooms ranging from triple to one ten-bed room with shared facilities. Greater comfort can be found in the smaller renovated building of the castellan, in close proximity to the castle. On the ground floor, there are two triple rooms with a bathroom and an infrared sauna, while the first floor features two four-bed rooms and one double room, as well as two bathrooms, a fully equipped kitchenette, and a veranda with seating," describes the director of the accommodation facility, Denisa Vaizová.

The castle is surrounded by a beautiful park, which invites guests for walks and relaxation. Sports enthusiasts will surely appreciate the multifunctional court, workout playground, and ping-pong table. However, in case of bad weather, the local gymnasium can be used. For children, there is a fenced playground available. The castle chapel and tower with an exhibition about the castle's history are open to the public. ŠUZ Nečtiny also offers guided tours.

The accommodation price is 690 CZK per person per night, and upon presenting a JIS card, students, employees, and their family members pay 450 CZK per person per night. Accommodation in the castle building cost 460 CZK per person per night, and 320 CZK per person per night with a JIS card.

Accommodation can be reserved via email, phone, or through the reservation form on the website zameknectiny.cz, or on the Booking.com portal."
