Barbora Voštinková, a fourth-year student of media illustration at the Ladislav Sutnar Faculty of Design and Art, is now displaying her work to students and the general public at the University Library of the University of West Bohemia. Her main theme is the depiction of figures, focusing primarily on comics and illustration, but she is also close to painting.
Barbora is one of fifteen authors behind the comic book Hikobae: 15 Views Beyond the Boundaries of Iogi, which was well received at this year's EXPO in Osaka. She is the winner of the Egon Schiele Prize for drawing, which she received as part of the international FIGURMA 2024 project. She lives and works in Pilsen and Kladno.
An exhibition of her works will be on display in the lobby of the Bory Library until January 15, 2026.
